Saventaro®

Saventaro® (Cat's Claw) is a unique extract of Uncaria tomentosa that both enhances natural immunity and modifies the acquired immune system.* It is an effective natural treatment for IBS, Crohn’s Disease and other digestive system disorders. Saventaro® (cat's claw) is also effective in the prevention of atherosclerosis, heart attack and stroke.

The tropical rain forests are without exception the richest habitat on Earth. Not All Cat's Claw Are Equal

Saventaro® is the ONLY Uncaria tomentosa that's patented, clinically proven and guaranteed to benefit both the natural and acquired immune systems. Although Uncaria tomentosa plants look alike to the naked eye, they occur in nature with two very different chemical makeups, called chemotypes.

One chemotype provides POAs, the type of oxindole alkaloids (OAs) proven to benefit both natural and acquired immunity. The second chemotype provides TOAs, the type of OAs that do NOT benefit acquired immunity and CANCEL OUT the benefits provided by POAs. The only way to identify the chemotype that provides the desired benefits is to analyze each plant at harvest time.

Saventaro® is the first and ONLY product made from Uncaria tomentosa that's analyzed for its specific chemotype at harvest time. Products that advertise high levels of OAs without stating that they are TOA-free likely contain TOAs and therefore cannot provide the desired benefits.

In addition, Saventaro® is harvested from the root, where pentacyclic oxindole alkaloids (POAs) are 200% more concentrated than in the bark. Plus, it's standardized to be free of harmful levels of substances commonly found in traditional Cat's Claw extracts.

Precautions

Saventaro® should not be taken by those with organ or allogenic bone marrow transplants. This precaution is based on theoretical concerns and has not been seen in clinical studies.

Saventaro® has not been studied in pregnant women; therefore, it is not recommended during pregnancy or nursing.21

In general, Saventaro® is well tolerated. There have been some reports of transient gastrointestinal upset at the beginning of treatment.
